Gian Vitale. Corner TV Stand. November 12th , 2020.
We all need more space in our homes. So it’s vital that we use what space we do have in the most efficacious manner possible. It’s critical that you find ways to fully use the available space you have. When you have a smaller space, placing a corner TV stand can be the best way to create the best look possible in your living room. Corner TV stands allow you to open up a part of your living room that up until stood unused.
There are many ways to go about making your living room entertainment center look like it’s part of the actual living room. The recent burst of flat-screen television has made TV stands all the more popular. Let’s face it you cannot buy a new 50-inch plasma TV and then set it on some old beat-up wooden or for that matter plastic TV stand. It would only make the TV look like it doesn’t belong in your home and your friends wouldn’t want to see that when football season rolls around. Since most entertainment centers from the past only house up to about a 30 or 35 inch TV you have to go with a TV stand to house your new plasma television set.
You can use these corner stands to place a television in an area of your home that you otherwise wouldn’t have been able to fit one of those large entertainment centers into in the past. By using the corner TV stand we can accomplish this goal – and much more.
Many people who are serious about their home audiovisual equipment will turn up their noses at the very thought of installing a corner TV stand in their television viewing room. They contend that anything other than the perfect home cinema setup is unacceptable and should be avoided at all costs.
Corner television stands do a perfectly acceptable job in arranging your Audio Visual equipment in a typical family home, they are however undoubtedly inferior to a setup which puts the TV in the center of the room. Your viewing angle is going be compromised somewhat and you not going to be able to get any extra speakers in the best location for movie audio.
Those of us that live in the real world have to keep the family happy and realize that sometimes we have to make sacrifices in order to keep everyone in our home happy. If that means we have to create a viewing environment that is less than ideal then so be it, its a price worth paying for a peaceful house.
Not too long ago, television sets were a big piece of wooden furniture with a screen built into it. This type of TV would probably be considered a console-style in today’s market. TVs looked and stayed this way for a long time. The television became the main showpiece of any living room and the console-style was considered to be high technology equipment – at the time. These TV sets were huge and very bulky, taking up a lot of room within the living space, becoming a part of the overall decor scheme.
